Another Shameless Self-Promotion

There are RSS readers and then there is Spectra. This web-based 'visual newsreader' takes in the 100+ feeds from msnbc.com and allows the user to tailor the feeds to suit their interests. It also allows for saving individual stories through the built-in Newscollector. All this takes place in a colorful three dimesional space that includes input options such as keyword filtering, webcam color tracking and much more. This site was awarded Site Of The Month by TheFWA(May,'08) and won the Flash Foward Award for Best Navigation/ Experience. It was developed by SS+K, NY, and Fluid from The Netherlands.
